US President Donald Trump has issued a statement announcing significant progress in negotiations aimed at de-escalating tensions in the Middle East. According to the President, "very positive discussions" took place over the past weekend with Hamas, as well as with various countries around the world, including Arab and Muslim states. There are three main goals on the negotiation agenda: the release of hostages held in Gaza, an end to the war, and, most importantly, the establishment of long-awaited and stable peace in the Middle East. President Trump noted that these negotiations are not only proceeding very successfully but are also developing at a rapid pace.
As a continuation of the process, technical teams are scheduled to meet in Egypt on Monday, tasked with meticulously developing and clarifying the final points of the agreement. President Trump expressed optimism, emphasizing that he has been informed that the first phase of the process should be completed this week. Given the tight deadlines, he appealed to all parties involved, urging them to act quickly and decisively. "I ask everyone to move fast," he stated.
At the same time, the president assured that he will continue to personally oversee the process of resolving this "age-old conflict." At the end of his statement, he issued a stern warning, underscoring the seriousness and urgency of the situation. "Time is of the essence, or massive bloodshed will follow, which nobody wants to see," Trump concluded.
