Trump Defends Decision to Allow Chinese Students into US

In an interview with The Daily Caller, US President Donald Trump called the decision to allow students from China to study in the US correct.

"I want nothing in return. We have everything. They pay us hundreds of billions of dollars. It's right to have good relations with countries, especially, you know, with countries that have nuclear power," Trump concluded.

As a reminder, in June, Trump announced that Washington would again allow Chinese students to study at American universities as part of an agreement with Beijing.

He clarified that Washington is ready to fulfill its obligations, including the admission of Chinese students to American colleges and universities.

The Daily Caller writes that this involves 600,000 students over two years.
