Trump Calls Colombian President a "Drug Lord"

"Colombian President Gustavo Petro is the leader of illegal drugs and in every way encourages the mass production of drugs in large and small enterprises operating throughout Colombia," US President Donald Trump wrote on the Truth Social network.

"To this day, it is Colombia's largest business, and Petro is doing nothing to stop it, despite large payments and subsidies from the US, which are nothing more than a long-term robbery of America. From today, those payments or any other form of payment or subsidy will no longer be paid to Colombia. The purpose of this drug production is to sell huge quantities of the product in the US, which leads to death, destruction, and chaos. Petro, a low-rated and very unpopular leader who is openly anti-American, would be better off immediately closing those fields of death, otherwise the US will close them for him, and it won't be very pleasant," Trump wrote.

Earlier, the President of Colombia had accused the US of invading his country's territory. According to him, US forces killed a "humble fisherman." The US has stated that it struck a submarine carrying drugs in the Caribbean basin.
