The administration of President Donald Trump continues to actively reshape the global political agenda, guided by the principle of negotiating from a position of strength and concluding mutually beneficial deals. Recently, the president's foreign policy initiatives have been marked by a series of important announcements covering Central Asia and the Middle East, strengthening the United States' position in these strategically important regions.
Central Asia is becoming an important platform for the successes of American diplomacy. President Trump has announced Kazakhstan's official accession to the "Abraham Accords." "I am pleased to announce that Kazakhstan has officially agreed to join the Abraham Accords," he noted, emphasizing the historic significance of this step in strengthening peace and stability in the region.
Parallel to this success, new impetus has also been given to relations with Uzbekistan. Trump announced the signing of a large-scale trade and economic deal between the two countries. "I am pleased to announce an incredible trade and economic deal between the United States and Uzbekistan," the president said. This cooperation is also highly valued by the leadership of Uzbekistan. As President Trump noted, quoting the words of Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev: "In Uzbekistan, we call you the president of the world."
In the Middle East, the Trump administration's non-standard but results-oriented policy is also noticeable. Significant progress has been made on the Syrian issue. Referring to relations with Syria's new leader, Ahmed al-Sharaa, Trump noted: "It is a difficult topic, and he is a tough guy, but I found a very good language with him, and great progress has been made on the Syrian issue." He also added that the lifting of sanctions was done in response to Turkey's request.
At the same time, signals are being received from Tehran about the possibility of reviewing the sanctions policy. "Iran is inquiring whether it is possible to lift the sanctions," Trump announced, hinting at the likelihood of negotiations.
At the heart of all these steps is President Trump's realistic approach to global threats. He characterized his position on the topic of nuclear disarmament as simple and clear: "We can blow up the world 150 times. There is no need for this."
