Trump Announces Closure of Venezuelan Airspace

US President Donald Trump has announced the imposition of strict restrictions on Venezuelan airspace. The head of the White House informed in a post on his social network that Venezuela's sky is henceforth declared a closed zone.

"All airlines, pilots, drug dealers, and human traffickers are asked to take note that Venezuelan airspace and its surroundings will be completely closed. Thank you for your attention to this matter," the US President wrote on his social media page.

It is noteworthy that such a drastic step is being taken against the backdrop of recently intensified talks. It should be recalled that for a long time, the scenario of a possible military operation by the United States on the territory of Venezuela has been actively discussed.
