"The Last Explosion": A Film by Diana Karapetyan

Two years ago today, on September 25, 2023, the explosion at the Haykazov fuel depot in Artsakh became one of the most tragic pages in the history of the Republic of Artsakh. More than 218 dead, hundreds injured, two dozen missing. The explosion was not just an accident, but a tragic combination of the loss of human lives, the pain of the wounded, and the unbearable waiting of the living.

Our film crew spoke with survivors, witnesses, doctors, and relatives of the dead and missing. A story not only about the explosion, but also about unhealed wounds and human resilience. Diana Karapetyan's film "The Last Explosion" will be on air next week.
