Teachers in Armenia Can Earn 700,000 AMD: Pashinyan

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan presented how much teachers are paid in the Republic of Armenia. Accordingly, today in Armenia, 2,118 teachers receive a salary of 300-400 thousand drams, 863 teachers receive 400-500 thousand drams, 109 teachers receive 500-600 thousand drams, 22 teachers receive 600-700 thousand drams, and 2 teachers receive 700 thousand drams and more. According to Nikol Pashinyan, receiving a salary of 700 thousand drams and more is available not only to those two but to all teachers. "The same is available to all other teachers. This is a very important record. Today in the RA, a teacher can receive a salary of 700 thousand drams and more," he said.

The Prime Minister informed that a new attestation period begins on November 8, and more than 8,000 teachers have applied for it. "If my memory serves me right, this is the largest number of applicants we have had. This means that attention to and trust in the attestation process have increased," noted Nikol Pashinyan.
