"Tatoyan" Foundation Observers Begin Work in Vagharshapat

On November 15, the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) launched an investigation based on an application from an authorized person on behalf of the "Independent Observer" public alliance, which demanded that the "Tatoyan Center for Law and Justice" Foundation be deprived of observer accreditation in the enlarged community of Vagharshapat. The "Tatoyan" Foundation issued a statement about this.
"The CEC rejected the initiation of administrative proceedings based on this application, deeming it submitted by an unauthorized person. Subsequently, the CEC initiated administrative proceedings on its own initiative. During the proceedings, representatives of the Foundation raised objections and substantiated that there were no grounds to revoke accreditation. In a session lasting more than 10 hours and ending 5 hours before the elections, the CEC terminated the proceedings initiated on its own initiative. Today, all our observer groups have been in the enlarged community of Vagharshapat since early morning and will carry out an observation mission in all polling stations," the statement reads.
