Syunik Airport Open, Yerevan-Kapan Flight Paused

Syunik Airport has not ceased operations. This was announced by the airport's press service, refuting rumors spread in the media.

"The Yerevan-Kapan-Yerevan flight has been temporarily suspended, which is exclusively due to the scheduled technical maintenance of the L-410 aircraft of NovAir airline, which operates the flight," the airport reminded, emphasizing that even in the case of a temporary suspension of flights, airports operate under the control and rules of the respective national and international regulatory bodies.

It should be recalled that on September 2, NovAir, the company servicing the Yerevan-Kapan-Yerevan route, announced the temporary suspension of flights. "The aircraft will be undergoing technical maintenance," company head Karen Vardanyan told "Syunik" TV. The technical maintenance of the aircraft may take up to 4 months, after which the Czech L-410 will resume flights.
