Sweden warns of Russian attacks in the Baltic Sea

Swedish Defense Minister Pål Jonson has accused Moscow of waging a hybrid war in the Baltic region, warning of possible aggressive Russian actions. In an interview with the RND agency, he noted that Russia's aggression against Ukraine and the West has turned the region into a "front line of a hybrid war."
"What is happening in the Baltic Sea is part of Russia's war," Jonson emphasized. The Swedish minister is convinced that the balance of power in the region has radically changed, and Russia no longer has its former advantage. "Compared to the Cold War, the balance of power has completely changed. Russia's room for maneuver in the Baltic Sea is very limited," he stated.
According to Jonson, Russia can no longer act unnoticed. He noted that the Russian military presence is limited to only Kaliningrad and St. Petersburg, while Sweden and other NATO partners have a clear advantage in both their presence in the Baltic Sea and their observation and intelligence capabilities.
