Suspect in Parakar Mayor's Murder Has Been Arrested

The court has arrested 20-year-old G. Harutyunyan, who is accused of murdering the head of the Parakar community and his friend, a criminal police officer. The investigator of the Investigative Committee had submitted a motion for detention to the court, which was granted. This is reported by "Hetq".

Recall that on September 23, Valodya Grigoryan, the head of the Parakar community, and his friend, Karen Abrahamyan, were killed near his home. One person received a gunshot wound.

On September 28, the Investigative Committee released a statement that the identity of the person who allegedly committed the murder, a member of a group, has been established, who has been arrested and brought to the preliminary investigation body.

The latter gave a confessional testimony and pointed out the location of the automatic weapon that was the instrument of the crime. The automatic weapon has been seized by the investigator.
