Sunday liturgy, Monday: press conference and revelations

For the last month and a half, the prime minister has been announcing via video every week which church he will attend for Sunday liturgy. This is the first time he is going to a liturgy in one of Yerevan's churches, not in the provinces. This time, Narek Karapetyan, the coordinator of the "Our Way" movement, also went to St. Sarkis. He had previously stated that he has been attending liturgy at that church for 15 years and would not miss the service because of Pashinyan. Incidentally, this is the seat of the Primate of the Araratian Diocese, Navasard Kchoyan. He and 7 other high-ranking clergymen had gone to a meeting with Pashinyan last week.
