A new study conducted by the analytical portal Visual Capitalist, covering 187 countries, presents an interesting picture of working hours around the world and in our region. According to 2025 data, Armenia ranked 107th out of 187 countries, with an average of 38 working hours per week. This indicator places Armenia among the most hardworking countries in the region, significantly surpassing its immediate neighbors.
For comparison, Georgia ranks 119th (37.1 hours), and Azerbaijan ranks 147th (34.4 hours), which is one of the lowest indicators not only in the region but also in the world. Armenia's indicators are close to those of Russia (38.2 hours) and Kazakhstan (38 hours).
