Strongest Geomagnetic Storm of the Year Expected Tomorrow

Tomorrow, the strongest geomagnetic storm of this year is expected. This was announced by Levon Azizyan, the director of the "Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center" SNCO, on his social media page.

"Currently, even in a weakened form (without taking into account the nighttime emission), the forecasts of the Laboratory of Solar Astronomy of the Space Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences show storms in the G3-G4 range, that is, they range from strong to very strong. If recalculated during the day, this range will probably move to the G4-G5 (extremely strong) range.

This means that the disturbances caused in the Earth's magnetic field can have a significant impact on both technical systems and a person's well-being.

What can a magnetic storm do to us? As a rule, the disturbances it causes negatively affect the elderly and people with weak immune systems. Those who are sensitive to this phenomenon may experience fatigue, headaches, discomfort, fluctuations in blood pressure, and poor concentration.

How to protect yourself? During magnetic storms, doctors advise maintaining a diet rich in fruits and vegetables, without animal fats. Drinking plenty of water also helps a lot. Spend a few hours in the fresh air," wrote Levon Azizyan.
