Details of the court hearing in Archbishop Bagrat's case

During today's hearing at the Yerevan court, defense attorney Liparit Simonyan left the courtroom in protest, claiming that the rights of one of the defendants had been violated.

The court rejected the defense attorneys' motion for the recusal of the 5 prosecutors involved in the case.

Despite the personal guarantees of NA deputies, the court extended the detention of the only female defendant in the case, Lidya Mantashyan, for another three months. The next hearing is scheduled for tomorrow, August 21, at 14:30.
