Sports Company Evaded 2.3 Billion AMD in Taxes: SRC

As a result of a comprehensive analysis of the obtained data, it was found that over the last five years, the company provided sports services to a number of clients without providing cash register receipts and corresponding accounting documents, thus concealing a turnover of about 8.6 billion drams and not paying about 2.3 billion drams in taxes to the state budget. This is reported by the SRC.

In connection with the mentioned case, public criminal prosecution was initiated against 1 person from the criminal group under the relevant article of the RA Criminal Code, an indictment was presented, after which 348.6 million drams of the damage caused to the state was recovered.

The preliminary investigation and inquiry are ongoing, procedural actions and operational-investigative measures are being carried out to clarify the full circumstances of the case, to identify the entire circle of persons involved in the criminal group, to apply criminal-legal measures against them, as well as to fully recover the damage caused by the alleged crime, reports the official source.
