SOCAR Signs Memorandum with Syrian Government

A memorandum of understanding was signed in Baku between SOCAR and the government of the Syrian Arab Republic. This is reported by Azerbaijani media.

Considering the fact that the visit of the head of Syria's transitional government, Ahmed al-Sharaa, to Baku took place shortly after Erdoğan's statements about the supply of Azerbaijani gas to Syria, one can guess what the memorandum is about.
