Skaters Akopova & Rakhmanin Qualify Armenia for Olympics

In the ISU To Milano Olympic qualification tournament held in Beijing, the pair of Karina Akopova-Nikita Rakhmanin won a silver medal and secured Armenia's participation in the 2026 Milan Winter Olympic Games. This is reported by Sportaran.

As a result of the short and free programs of the qualification stage, the pair of Karina Akopova-Nikita Rakhmanin scored 186.84 points and took second place.

According to the rules of the qualification tournament, the pairs that take the first three places in the qualification competitions pass the Olympic qualification stage.

It should be noted that Akopova and Rakhmanin previously competed for the Russian national team, but in the summer of 2025, they changed their sports citizenship and now represent Armenia.
