Simonyan Raises POW Issue with OSCE PA Vice-President

On November 24, the President of the RA National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, met with the Vice-President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly and the Special Representative of the OSCE PA for the South Caucasus, Luís Grasa (Portugal). The OSCE PA Vice-President positively assessed the democratic reforms being implemented in Armenia, noting that they will continue to support this process.

At the core of the interlocutors' discussions were issues related to RA-EU cooperation, as well as the process of normalizing relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan and regional developments.

Alen Simonyan also drew Luís Grasa's attention to the problem of prisoners, illegally detained persons, and missing persons in Azerbaijan.
