Alen Simonyan Meets New Swedish Ambassador Eva Sundquist

On October 10, RA NA President Alen Simonyan received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Sweden to Armenia, Eva Sundquist. This was reported by the National Assembly.

Congratulating the Ambassador on her appointment, Alen Simonyan expressed hope that her activities will give new impetus to the cooperation between the two countries.

The interlocutors discussed issues related to bilateral relations, Armenia-EU interaction, and the development of inter-parliamentary ties, as well as touched upon regional developments and the established peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Alen Simonyan also drew the Ambassador's attention to the issue of prisoners of war held in Azerbaijan, illegally detained persons, and missing persons.
