Sevdaliza's Performance in Armenia Canceled After Public Outcry

Sevdaliza will not perform in Armenia. The organizers of "Coca-Cola Fest" announced this on their official Facebook page, promising to announce the names of new artists soon.

At the same time, the organizers inform that already purchased tickets are subject to a refund upon request.

It should be recalled that the Dutch singer of Iranian origin, Sevdaliza, was invited to perform at the "Coca-Cola Fest" scheduled for August 30 in Armenia.

This news raised a wave of discontent on social networks. Many users and bloggers made posts demanding that the festival organizers cancel the singer's performance.

Many noted that they would not only boycott the festival, but also the product in general, if the performance was not canceled. The reason for the protests is that the singer mocks Christian symbols in her music videos.

It should be noted that the 38-year-old Sevdaliza has Iranian, Azerbaijani, and Russian roots. She was born in Tehran, but has lived with her family in the Netherlands since the age of 5.
