Armenia Approves Increased Water Intake from Lake Sevan

This year, the water intake quota from Lake Sevan for irrigation purposes has been increased from the permissible 170 million cubic meters to 200 million cubic meters.

◽️ In an extraordinary session, the Parliament adopted the draft on making additions to the RA law "On approving the annual and comprehensive programs for the restoration, preservation, reproduction, and use of the Lake Sevan ecosystem" in the 2nd reading and in its entirety.
