SCO Summit Adopts Tianjin Declaration, Condemns Iran Strikes

The SCO member states have adopted the Tianjin Declaration. The final document states that the summit participants:
▪️ Condemned the US and Israeli strikes against Iran, emphasizing the inadmissibility of damaging nuclear infrastructure during military conflicts.
▪️ Condemned terrorism and stressed the unacceptability of double standards in the fight against it.
▪️ Expressed readiness to support the international community's efforts to ensure peace and development in Afghanistan.
▪️ Expressed readiness to work together to prevent security risks related to artificial intelligence.
▪️ Advocated for strict observance of the provisions of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.
▪️ Expressed readiness to develop cooperation in the military sphere.
▪️ The SCO advocated for the sovereign right of all states to regulate the Internet and manage it in their national segment.
▪️ Advocated for cooperation in the fight against illicit drug trafficking.
▪️ Advocated for keeping outer space free of any weapons.
▪️ Opposed the initiative of the "European troika" to restore UN Security Council sanctions against Iran, noting its illegality.
▪️ The presidency of the SCO is transferred to Kyrgyzstan.
▪️ The SCO has decided to merge the statuses of "observer" and "dialogue partner."
