Karapetyan: Gov't Made Business an 'Object to Fleece'

Samvel Karapetyan made another statement through the Defense Council:

"They are turning business, the private sector, into an 'object to fleece', and the businessman into an enemy. With this, the current government managed to almost completely destroy the country's domestic investment climate. All this led to the creation of companies producing mostly zero added value over the last seven years, and for foreign investors, we became an uninteresting and unpromising country.

The current authorities tried to isolate journalists who honorably perform their mission, they tried to nullify well-founded true speech or criticism, instead filling the platforms of public discourse with garbage. They managed to create an atmosphere of fear through profanity; for the first time, the Armenian man was even powerless to protect the dignity of his wife and daughter.

It is unequivocal that we will make Armenia a country of prosperity, we will leave the word poverty in the past, and the public sphere will be cleansed of garbage mixed with profanity," Karapetyan wrote in particular.
