Israeli FM: Recognizing Palestine is a reward for terrorism

During his visit to the US, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar gave an interview to the Wall Street Journal, in which he specifically responded to the plans of several Western countries to recognize a "Palestinian state": "When Hamas praises you, as was the case with French President Macron, that already speaks for itself."

According to Minister Sa'ar, "Hamas has already declared that the recognition of a Palestinian state is a result of the October 7 massacre. The Palestinians remember that before October 7, France and Great Britain did not recognize anything. So what conclusion should they come to now?" the Israeli Foreign Minister asked.

Gideon Sa'ar noted: "Many in Europe do not understand that the ideology of all Palestinian factions is the elimination of the Jewish state. Today in Europe, there are huge Muslim communities. There are already extremist Islamic cells there. That has an impact."

Speaking about the results of the war, Minister Sa'ar emphasized: "We have restored Israel's image as a strong state after the fall on October 7, but it is not just an image, it is a reality. We have destroyed the architecture of terror around us that Iran was creating for years, and we have changed the entire strategic situation in the Middle East."
