Saakashvili Asks Zelenskyy to Include Him in Prisoner Swap

Former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili has appealed to Ukrainian President Zelenskyy, asking to be included in the list of civilian prisoners subject to exchange and insisting that he is being held captive by the Russian regime in Georgia. The politician announced this on his official Facebook page, recalling the positions he held in Ukraine.

This appeal sounds particularly noteworthy after it was announced on November 12 that Saakashvili had been discharged from the "Vivamed" clinic in Tbilisi.

As a reminder, he had been under the strict supervision of doctors since 2022 due to health problems.
