Ryabkov: Tomahawks Won't Change War's Course

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov has made a series of statements addressing both the potential supply of American "Tomahawk" missiles to Ukraine and the current situation surrounding the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict.
According to him, the transfer of "Tomahawk" missiles to Kyiv would lead to a "qualitative change" in the situation in the military operations zone, but at the same time, it would not affect the course of the special military operation. Ryabkov specifically emphasized that the use of this complex technological weapon is impossible without the direct participation of the American military, which creates additional risks for further escalation of the conflict.
Turning to the diplomatic field, the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister stated that the potential for resolving the Ukrainian conflict, which had emerged after the meeting between Putin and Trump in Alaska, is now completely exhausted. In other words, he hinted that Moscow no longer sees an opportunity to resume the negotiation process based on previously reached agreements. In effect, this means a significant reduction in the already slim chances for a settlement of the Ukrainian crisis.
