NATO Chief to Zelenskyy: We Are Working on Security Guarantees

"We are now working on defining security guarantees for Ukraine," NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte announced after a meeting with Zelenskyy.

He noted that Trump has made it a priority to break the impasse in relations with Putin and has made it clear to him that the US will participate in ensuring security guarantees for Ukraine.

"We are now working on defining the guarantees. And as soon as the moment comes for the start of bilateral negotiations, you, Volodymyr, will know that the strength of friends is with you, which will ensure Russia's compliance with the agreement, and that Russia will never again violate a single square meter of Ukrainian territory," Rutte said.
