A high-tech presentation in Moscow, intended to showcase the latest achievement of Russian engineering thought, had an unexpected and dramatic conclusion. Russia's first humanoid robot, bearing the symbolic name "Idol," collapsed on stage during its public debut, in both the literal and figurative sense.
The beginning of the event was promising. It was presented that the robot named "Idol," equipped with artificial intelligence, possessed impressive capabilities. As reported by TASS, the developers had assured that the robot could operate completely offline, without connecting to external networks, and could even express emotions. This was supposed to be evidence of serious progress in the Russian robotics industry.
However, the theoretical possibilities collided with harsh reality when the robot took the stage. Before everyone's eyes, "Idol" took two unsteady steps, tried to wave to the audience, but lost its balance and fell, breaking into pieces. The presentation was immediately interrupted, and the organizers were forced to cover the remains of the dismembered android with a black cloth and remove them from the stage.
