First Batch of Russian Wheat Reaches Armenia via Azerbaijan

The first batch of Russian wheat (1050 tons) has reached Armenia through the territories of Azerbaijan and Georgia.

According to the "South Caucasus Railway," this is the first case of cargo transportation through the territory of Azerbaijan since the 1990s.

It is planned to deliver another 132 wagons of wheat via this route by the end of January 2026, and the transportation of other goods is also being discussed.
