Russian forces are continuing their attacks in Ukraine. On the night of September 22-23, Russian forces once again attacked the Odesa region. One woman was killed as a result of the strike, and three others were injured. Civilian infrastructure suffered serious damage: a fire broke out in five commercial outlets.
The fire was quickly extinguished. In addition, the buildings of a hotel, the Ukrainian postal service, "Ukrtelecom," a cultural center, a center for administrative services, and several cars were damaged. Rescue services immediately began work to eliminate the consequences of the attack.
For the second night in a row, Zaporizhzhia was subjected to a massive attack. Russian forces used aerial bombs against the city, targeting both industrial facilities and the private residential sector. One person was killed as a result of the strikes; rescuers pulled his body from under the rubble. Numerous fires broke out in the city, private houses were destroyed, and adjacent buildings were damaged by the blast wave. The head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov, confirmed that the attack was carried out with high-explosive aerial bombs, the number of which reached six.
Three people were killed as a result of the attack on Zaporizhzhia the previous day. The authorities are urging citizens to be vigilant and not to ignore air raid signals. Rescue and utility services continue to work to eliminate the consequences of the attacks and provide assistance to the victims.
