Russian Fighter Jets Violate Estonian Airspace

19 SEP 2025 15:09
Estonia has announced a gross violation of its borders. According to Estonian sources, three Russian MiG-31 fighter jets intruded into the country's airspace and remained there for 12 minutes. The aircraft flew without flight plans, with their transponders turned off, and without radio contact with Estonian airports.
The Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs immediately summoned the temporary commissioner of the RF and handed him a note of protest.
This is already the fourth case this year that Russian military aircraft have violated the country's borders. In Tallinn, such actions are called "genocidal provocation."
