Russian Baltic Fleet Conducts Anti-Sabotage Drills

At the Leningrad Naval Base of the Baltic Fleet of the Russian Federation, exercises were held with the aim of countering possible sabotage threats. This is reported by "RIA Novosti," citing the press service of the Baltic Fleet.
According to the official message, complex training of security and defense units was carried out within the framework of ensuring the security of military infrastructure.
"The purpose of the event was to practice actions to detect, block, and neutralize conditional enemy sabotage groups," the fleet's press service said in a statement. During the exercises, special purpose combat groups were quickly moved to the site of the alleged intrusion by conditional saboteurs.
"During the exercises, tactical techniques for blocking unauthorized access to military infrastructure facilities of the naval formation and neutralizing them were thoroughly worked out," the press service added.
Special attention was paid to the use of special means and tactical tricks to counter sabotage groups. In addition, the servicemen improved their skills in evacuating conditional casualties, engineering reconnaissance, as well as conducting radiation and chemical reconnaissance in their areas of responsibility.
