Kirill Dmitriev, the special representative of the Russian President for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries, who traveled to Washington, and the head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, has stated that Russia wants a diplomatic and quick settlement of the conflict around Ukraine. The diplomat's words are conveyed by RIA "Novosti". In an interview with CNN, the representative of the Russian President emphasized the Russian side's position. "We all want this conflict to end diplomatically," he said.

The special representative of the Russian President, who is now in the US, stated that he believes the parties are close to a diplomatic solution that will end the war. "Zelenskyy has taken a big step by already admitting that it's about the front line," he said in an interview with CNN.
