Russia struck Ukraine overnight with a record 728 UAVs and 13 missiles since the start of the war. Attacks were carried out on a number of Ukrainian cities, including Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Odesa. According to reports, "Shahed"-type drones were used. In Kharkiv, 27 people were injured as a result of the attacks, and in Odesa, 1 person was killed. In addition, Russia launched an attack on the Odesa region with 19 attack drones and 2 "Oniks" supersonic missiles, and also fired 12 "Kalibr" missiles at other regions of Ukraine.
According to open sources, 10 people, including 3 children, were killed and 38 people were injured in Ukraine as a result of the drone attacks carried out by Russia.
Ukrainian forces carried out a drone attack on the coastal area of Russia's Kursk region. According to the acting governor of the Kursk region, 3 people were killed as a result of the attack, including one serviceman who was participating in rescue operations. 7 people were injured. The Russian side reports that its air defense shot down 15 Ukrainian attack drones and one helicopter in one day.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that Ukraine is expanding the production of long-range weapons and plans to strike targets on Russian territory. This statement was made against the backdrop of Russia's attacks on Ukrainian cities.
