Russia Strikes Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk, Killing Four

On the night of October 24-25, at least two people were killed and 12 others were injured as a result of a ballistic missile attack on Kyiv. Mayor Vitali Klitschko announced this, adding that three of the injured have been hospitalized.
According to him, the strikes targeted the left-bank districts of Kyiv. In particular, fires broke out in two different non-residential buildings in the Darnytskyi district. In the Dniprovskyi district, the blast wave damaged the windows and doors of several residential buildings, as well as a kindergarten building. In the Desnianskyi district, warehouse areas and several cars burned down as a result of falling missile debris. According to the Ukrainian military, Russia launched a total of nine missiles at night, four of which were successfully shot down.
Russian troops also attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region of Ukraine at night. According to the head of the regional military administration, Vladyslav Haivanenko, the RF Armed Forces launched missile and drone strikes on the Synelnykove and Pavlohrad districts, as well as the city of Nikopol.
As a result of the strikes, two people were killed and seven others were injured. The State Emergency Service clarified that one of the victims was a local resident, and the other was an employee of the rescue service, Oleksandr Yehorichev. The latter died while extinguishing a fire in the Synelnykove district, as a result of coming under repeated shelling.
