According to the summary of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russia launched 118 unmanned aerial vehicles and 4 missiles towards Ukraine overnight. Ukrainian air defense managed to shoot down or suppress 101 drones. Hits by four missiles and 13 drones were recorded in 15 different locations, and the wreckage of downed UAVs fell in two other places.
One of the main targets of the attack was the city of Dnipro and the Dnipropetrovsk region. The head of the regional military administration, Vyacheslav Gaivanenko, reported that two people were injured in the city as a result of the overnight strike.
Civilian infrastructure suffered significant damage. Six residential buildings, an administrative building, a shop, and commercial enterprises were damaged. Railway infrastructure was also targeted.
A two-story building that houses the regional editorial offices of the media outlets "Suspilne Dnipro" and "Ukrainian Radio" was also damaged in the strike. There were no journalists in the building at the time of the attack, but a fire broke out there.
In addition to Dnipro, information about infrastructure damage was also received from the Samarivskyi and Pavlohrad districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
