Russia Expects Reciprocal Visit from US President Trump: Zakharova

The Russian side is expecting a reciprocal visit from US President Donald Trump. This was confirmed by the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, in an interview with TASS.

"The president of our country said this, summarizing the results of his participation in the Alaska summit. He made corresponding statements. And I can also quote him. He publicly invited the US president to Russia," the diplomat noted on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum. Zakharova did not specify the exact dates of the visit, justifying it as "the competence of the presidential administration."

She responded in the same way to a question about the range of topics to be discussed during the visit.
