Russia Claims 230 Drones, 5 HIMARS Rockets Downed in a Day

Over the past 24 hours, Russian air defense systems have shot down 5 HIMARS rockets and 230 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Ukrainian Armed Forces of the aircraft type, reports the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

During the night of September 8-9 alone, according to the Russian MoD's statement, 31 Ukrainian UAVs were intercepted and destroyed by on-duty air defense systems, 15 of them over the waters of the Black Sea.

According to Russian sources, the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost more than 1,485 servicemen in one day.
