Rubio, Netanyahu Talk Qatar Strike, Palestinian Statehood

The meeting between Marco Rubio and Benjamin Netanyahu, which was also attended by delegations from both sides, has ended at the Israeli Prime Minister's office.

The strike on Hamas leaders in Qatar was Israel's independent decision, and the full responsibility for that action is on us, stated Benjamin Netanyahu.

"The operation in Qatar was not a failure. Its purpose was to show the public that there is no safe place in the world for terrorists," added Netanyahu.

"We have warned the countries that are trying to recognize a Palestinian state that Israel will respond to these steps," stated US Secretary of State Marco Rubio during the meeting with Netanyahu.
