Cooperation with NATO is part of Armenia's balanced and balancing foreign policy. RA NA Vice Speaker Ruben Rubinyan stated this during a discussion within the framework of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly. "We are ready to continue this cooperation, which is aimed at strengthening regional and global security."
Rubinyan also spoke about Armenia-Turkey relations, noting that normalization remains one of the priorities of RA's foreign policy.
"Our dialogue with the Turkish side continues, and we are convinced that this historic opportunity to build good-neighborly relations should not be missed. The normalization of relations will not only bring stability and prosperity to our region, but will also contribute to the strengthening of global security, showing that long-standing contradictions can be overcome through dialogue and diplomacy," said the special envoy for the normalization of relations with Turkey.
He expressed hope that Turkey will respond to the Armenian side's readiness to establish diplomatic relations and have open borders as soon as possible.
