Report: Azeri, NATO Arms Reach Ukraine Via Sudan Route

According to a report published by the Rwandan news portal "Umuseke," Azerbaijan and NATO countries are supplying weapons to Ukraine through a complex smuggling route spanning three continents, involving Sudanese rebels. This is reported by Turkish media outlets.
The report states that the shipment was organized by the CIHAZ industrial association, which is linked to the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan. According to the publications, the supplied weapons include aerial bombs, portable anti-aircraft defense systems, drone parts, and other weapons, mostly produced under Turkish license.
According to sources, the weapons sent from Azerbaijan first arrive in Turkey. The cargo, which is relabeled as "humanitarian aid" at the Değirmen Makina factory in Gaziantep, is sent to a Sudanese port by ships of the Turkish company Yıldız Line and the German company AGL Forwarding, respectively. The weapons are then transported by the Swiss company Mediterranean Shipping Company to the port of Hamburg (Germany), from where they are delivered to Ukraine by land.
This is not the first time Azerbaijan has been accused of supplying weapons to Ukraine. It was reported that companies such as Technol Ltd. and Azersky, as well as CIHAZ, have also supplied weapons through Turkey. According to The War Zone, Baku even transferred three MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine in 2023.
