Rector and Vice-Rector of Pedagogical University Arrested

The Anti-Corruption Committee informed ReOpen.Media that within the framework of a criminal proceeding conducted by the Committee, the rector and vice-rector of the Khachatur Abovian Armenian State Pedagogical University have been arrested.

They are accused of creating and leading a criminal organization composed of various university employees, committing embezzlement and fraud in particularly large amounts, as well as accepting bribes.

A number of other university employees have also been arrested within the framework of the criminal proceeding.
