Russian President Vladimir Putin's helicopter was at the epicenter of repelling a large-scale attack by Ukrainian strike drones during the Kremlin leader's visit to the Kursk region. According to Yuri Dashkin, commander of an air defense division, the incident occurred on May 20. According to the military official, the intensity of the massive Ukrainian drone attack in the Kursk region significantly increased during the flight of the helicopter carrying the supreme commander-in-chief. The general added that Russian servicemen conducted an anti-aircraft battle and ensured the safety of the Russian President. As a result, they shot down all air targets.
