Putin: It Would Be Foolish Not to Develop Northern Sea Route

Many countries around the world are interested in using the Northern Sea Route, and it would be foolish not to develop it. The President of the Russian Federation stated this.

For that, according to Putin, Russia needs new nuclear icebreakers. The Arctic zone contains huge reserves of mineral resources, and Russia has already started working there.

Putin called the fact that its strategic submarines operate in northern latitudes and "disappear from radars" a military advantage for the Russian Federation.
