Putin Uses Bear, Tiger and Eagle Metaphors for Russia

"A bear remains a bear," but the world's largest tiger is also Russian. The President of the Russian Federation stated this at the plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum in response to a question about Russia's role in an alliance with India and China.
And Russia's double-headed eagle looks not only to the west and east, but also to the south, Putin emphasized.
"We are not turning away from anyone; we have a stable and predictable foreign and economic policy. Russia has never refused to cooperate with countries that want to develop ties.
In these relations, Russia offers equal conditions to all. The gas prices for the Chinese market via "Power of Siberia-2" will be market-based; they are calculated using the same formula as for supplies to Europe," the Kremlin leader assured.
