Putin Responds to Merz's Accusations on Ukraine

The President of Russia stated in Beijing that the foundations of a new multipolar world are being laid today. "Multipolarity does not mean that new hegemons should appear; all countries should have equal rights," Putin stated. All participating countries in international communication should have equal rights and occupy equal positions, he noted. He also addressed the statements of German Chancellor Merz.

To recall, Merz had accused Putin of crimes due to the events taking place in Ukraine. This is an unsuccessful attempt to evade the collective Western responsibility for the tragedy taking place in Ukraine, the Russian President noted.
