Putin Invites Zelenskyy to Moscow for Peace Talks

If a long-term peace is established in Ukraine, there will be no point in deploying foreign troops there. The President of the Russian Federation stated this at the plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum.

Putin again stated that he is not against a meeting with the President of Ukraine. He noted that the best place for a meeting with Zelenskyy is Moscow.

The Kremlin spokesman had also addressed the same topic earlier. Peskov had emphasized that Zelenskyy is being invited to Moscow not to sign a capitulation, but for discussions.

Let us recall that Kyiv had rejected previous similar proposals, reminding that 7 countries have expressed their willingness to host a bilateral or trilateral meeting with the participation of Trump.
