Putin congratulated Mehriban Aliyeva on her birthday. "I sincerely wish you health, happiness, peace, and success in your state activities. Please convey my greetings to Ilham Heydarovich and all members of your family," the Russian president's message reads.

It should be recalled that recently there has been some tension in Moscow-Baku relations, which is expressed in the arrests of citizens of Azerbaijan in Russia and citizens of Russia in Azerbaijan, as well as in various manifestations in Ukraine.
