Putin and Erdoğan Discuss US Summit in Phone Call

On August 20, the presidents of Russia and Turkey had a telephone conversation. Putin shared his assessments of the Russian-American summit in Anchorage with Erdoğan. The interlocutors discussed the latest developments around Ukraine.

The Russian side noted with satisfaction Turkey's support in holding negotiations between the representatives of Russia and Ukraine in Istanbul.
